Once the report is circulated, this includes time to:

  • Taking notes or jotting down questions to query at a later date because you can’t drill into the data.
  • Time spent scrolling up and down the report to appendices seeking answers.
  • Holding a meeting to discuss the report, often called a monthly control group meeting or project meeting.
  • Questions that cant be answered in the meeting are taken away, to be answered at a later date once the source spreadsheets are checked.
  • Carrying around, printing or having available the report to use as a decision making tool until the next report comes in.
