Barton Johns began his career as an assistant quantity surveyor at Rider Levett Bucknall and holds a Bachelor of Construction Management from Western Sydney University. During the delivery phase, Barton served as project manager and procurement manager for the relocation of Defence units to Holsworthy Barracks with RPS (2012 to 2015).
