Tailem Bend Solar Farm Stage 2 (TB2SP), South Australia - Project Engineer (New Energy), UGL
UGL provided engineering, procurement, and construction services for the Tailem Bend 2 Solar Farm (87MW) for client Vena Energy, approximately 100 km south-east of Adelaide. The EPC scope included construction of the solar farm and associated substation upgrade works. Following completion, UGL provided operations and maintenance services for a five-year period.
Cranbourne Line Upgrade / Merinda Park Station, Victoria - Site Engineer / Project Engineer (Services), Laing O’Rourke
Laing O’Rourke, Jacobs, and Metro Trains Melbourne delivered the Cranbourne Line Upgrade as part of Victoria’s Level Crossing Removal Project. Works included 8 km of track duplication between Cranbourne and Dandenong and the complete reconstruction of Merinda Park Station with a second platform, new pedestrian underpass, and expanded passenger facilities. Timothy progressed from Site Engineer on rail systems delivery to Project Engineer managing services and building works for the new station.
Ballarat Line Upgrade, Victoria - Electrical Site Engineer, Lendlease
Lendlease Engineering, Coleman Rail, and SMEC Australia delivered the $518 million Ballarat Line Upgrade as part of Victoria’s $1.75 billion Regional Rail Revival. Works included 18 km of track duplication between Deer Park West and Melton, new signaling systems, and construction of passing loops at Ballan and Millbrook. Timothy served as Electrical Site Engineer on rail signaling, civil, and electrical works.
