Adi Pandey is a Software Engineer at Mastt, where he works on feature development across the platform. Much of his recent work has been on implementing AI into the product, building features that read documents, extract and validate data, and surface insights so capital project teams can focus on making decisions.
Adi works closely with the rest of the engineering team and with customers' project teams to make sure the AI features land in real workflows. He comes from a family of civil engineers, so working in the construction industry from a different angle is something he finds meaningful. Construction has some big problems left to digitize, and that's the work that drew him in.
It is essential to understand why you're doing what you're doing, never just do something because someone told you to (especially AI). As long as you understand the situation, you'll always make the right decisions!

Outside work, Adi is trying not to listen to audiobooks and read books instead. The rest of the time, he's thinking about playing his guitar and making coffee. Convincing himself to exercise is still a work in progress.
