Tom Jowitt

Tom Jowitt leads AI and engineering at Mastt, bringing hands-on expertise in AI development and agentic workflows to Mastt Agent. He guides the engineering team as it builds and scales the product to handle repetitive administration, giving project teams more time for work that needs their judgment.

Tom has over 20 years of experience developing SaaS platforms and building engineering teams. Before joining Mastt, he led engineering at Checkbox, where he introduced AI-assisted development workflows and oversaw software quality and platform reliability. He also helped establish Expert360 as part of its founding team and served as CTO at MadeComfy, where he built its engineering and product functions as the business grew.

The best technology is the kind people stop noticing, because it just quietly gets the work done. I build for the person at the desk and the work site, not the demo.
