Program Dashboards in Mastt

A program management dashboard rolls up multiple projects into one clear view. Mastt consolidates program data into a single dashboard, so you can report faster and reduce stakeholder follow-ups.

Start with AI-assisted setup or a dashboard template, then tailor the layout to your key performance indicators. When it’s time to share, export a PDF or present directly from the dashboard.

Get portfolio visibility across every project in a program

Mastt's program dashboards live inside Programs and the Dashboard module. Add at least two projects to a program, then build a dashboard that aggregates project information into one portfolio view.

You can shape the dashboard around your key performance indicators (KPI), so program reporting stays clear for stakeholders and managers. These building blocks make portfolio dashboard reporting easier:

  • Consolidated portfolio view: Monitor multiple projects with one program dashboard.
  • AI-assisted setup or dashboard templates: Start fast with guided creation or a saved layout.
  • Tile library and widgets: Add, move, and resize tiles for clean dashboard design and data visualization.
  • Save and reuse: Keep the same reporting structure for ongoing program reporting dashboards.

This setup supports project portfolio dashboards that stay consistent across reporting cycles. It also helps you deliver executive portfolio updates with less manual formatting.

Make program reporting easier for stakeholders

Portfolio reporting breaks down when updates live in spreadsheets and slide decks. Teams spend time formatting instead of reviewing project performance. A construction program management software reduces that overhead by keeping a single reporting view that’s easy to update and reuse.

Here's what program management dashboards give you:

  • Faster stakeholder reporting: Share a consistent view without rebuilding decks.
  • Clear portfolio visibility: Compare project status across a program.
  • Repeatable executive reporting: Reuse templates for executive portfolio updates.
  • Less reporting admin: Spend less time on layout and exports.
  • Better program health communication: Track health categories in one view.

This helps program managers run reviews with fewer gaps. It also reduces back-and-forth when stakeholders ask for clarifications.

How to build a program dashboard in Mastt

You can create a program dashboard once you have program access and your program includes at least two projects. Mastt gives you three starting points, so you can match your reporting style from day one. After that, you refine the layout and save it for ongoing reporting.

Step 1: Open your program

Go to Programs from the admin area or main page. Select the program you want to report on, then open the dashboard area.

Step 2: Start a dashboard

Click Start a Dashboard and choose your method. Use AI-Assisted for guided creation, choose a template for a proven layout, or start from scratch for a blank dashboard.

Step 3: Add tiles from the tile library

Click Add Tiles and browse categories in the tile library. Select the widgets you want, then close the selector to place them on the dashboard.

Step 4: Arrange and customize the layout

Drag tiles into position and resize them to fit your reporting view. Use tile settings to adjust titles and display options. Duplicate tiles when you need the same view with a different focus.

Step 5: Save, present, or export

Click Save to keep your dashboard layout. Use Presentation mode to lock the layout during meetings. Use Print Preview to adjust page layouts, then save and download as a PDF.

Track program performance across your portfolio

A good program dashboard keeps portfolio reporting scannable. Mastt supports interactive dashboards built around project metrics, so you can focus on what matters in program reviews. This makes it easier to turn project progress into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Here are common views you can include in a program portfolio dashboard:

  • Project status and project progress: Track updates across individual projects.
  • Cost and cash flow: Support management reporting across the program.
  • Risk and schedule: Keep delivery signals visible in portfolio reviews.
  • Program health dashboard: Track health across scope, time, cost, risk, safety, quality, and cash flow.

This supports a project portfolio management dashboard that stays consistent across reporting periods. It also helps stakeholders compare projects without digging through raw project information.

Project data across status, cost, risk, time, health and more is automatically aggregated in real-time.

Share portfolio reporting without rebuilding decks

Stakeholders need something they can read and share. Mastt supports exports and presentation tools that fit real reporting workflows. This is where a portfolio reporting dashboard becomes easier to deliver.

These are the outputs you can use most for program reporting:

  • PDF export: Use Print Preview, then save and download.
  • Presentation mode: Lock tile positions for meetings and reviews.
  • Download tile data: Export supporting data from individual tiles.
  • Reusable templates: Apply a dashboard template across programs for consistency.

If you need a client-ready portfolio dashboard solution, Mastt also supports branding. You can upload a logo and apply custom colors using RGB values. This helps dashboards look consistent in client reporting packs.
