Niall Byrne is the Managing Director of CARAS, a specialist consultancy delivering civil, infrastructure, and contaminated land remediation projects. With more than 20 years of experience, he leads multidisciplinary teams focused on practical, high-quality project outcomes across Australia.
Before founding CARAS, Niall worked on major infrastructure and port developments with Hutchison Ports, Water Infrastructure Group, and Watpac. His early career in the UK and Ireland with John Sisk & Son and McGee Group built a strong technical foundation in civil engineering and site delivery.
Niall combines strategic leadership with on-the-ground expertise. He is known for guiding complex construction and remediation programs through to successful completion, balancing compliance, safety, and commercial performance. His approach is grounded in collaboration and a clear focus on results.
