Budget Adjustment

A Budget Adjustment refers to a deliberate modification made in a capital project's budget.

A Budget Adjustment is often used to address cost overruns that occur during the course of a capital project, or when one Budget or Sub-Budget is over or underfunded, and money needs to be reallocated to adjust the cost of a project or changes in scope.

It's a measure taken to align the project costs with the original financial plan or to accommodate unforeseen changes or risks
